’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ spoilers find the spin-off will be coming back for season three at the end of August! Of the six couples being featured in the series, four will be made up of familiar faces, and yes, fans will have two new couples to sink their teeth into.
Let’s start by introducing the newbies to the 90 Day family: Steven and Alina and Ellie and Victor.
Steven 25- Utah and Alina 20- Russia.
Devout Mormon, Steven is giving up his life in the U.S. to be with Alina whom he met a year ago on an app. The pair face many obstacles once the Russian border closes due to the coronavirus pandemic, forcing them to seek out other locations to marry. While the preview didn’t show a lot of these two, teasers say secrets from Steven’s past and Alina’s suspicions of infidelity begin to threaten their future together. Alina may be questioning if she truly knows the man she’s about to marry.
Ellie 45 – Seattle and Victor 38- Colombia
The preview does not start off well for Ellie and Victor, with Ellie doubting her decision to move to Victor’s home in Providencia, Colombia. In fact, the preview doesn’t end well for the pair either, with the pair, who initially met in South America, having argument after argument after moving in together after two years of doing long-distance. After a category five hurricane devastates Victor’s small Colombian island of Providencia, the two will have to put their differences aside, but it’s unclear if they can. By the looks of TLC’s preview, their relationship is somewhat of a hurricane also.
That’s our newbies, so, who’s returning for another go?
Ariela and Biniyam
The pair, Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre , are still living together in Ethiopia eight months after welcoming son Avi. Ariela’s friendship with her ex-husband, who comes to stay with the couple in Africa looks to upset Biniyam a little, but not as much as the prospect of losing another child when Ariela takes Avi back home to the USA for an operation.
Will Biniyam follow his family and make the move to America?
Corey and Evelin
Evelin Villegas and Corey Ratheberger finally get to start wedding planning after the lockdown is lifted in Ecuador. However, they face major problems when he shares that he nearly slept with another woman in Peru when they were on a break. He quickly learns, however, he’s not the only one with secrets as Evelin drops a shocking bombshell of her own.
The bombshell better be good, because these two still look as about as interesting to watch as paint drying. Their sections might just be our ‘popping the corn’ and ‘pouring another glass of wine’ breaks
Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh
Back for round thee, Jenny is now back in India full time after having to do a lot of back and forth travelling because Sumit still won’t marry her.
The preview shows us that Jenny FINALLY loses her $%^t at him, giving Sumit an ultimatum. It might just work as we see Sumit’s mother offer to move in with them to train Jenny on how to be a more traditional Indian wife and daughter-in-law.
This might just be worth sitting through Corey and Evelin’s scenes.
Finally, the couple rounding out the group are fan favorites…
Armando Rubio and Kenneth Niedermeier
The first gay male couple featured on the franchise will be wedding planning, bickering about spending and trying to get Armando’s family to accept their marriage…and come to the event! The couple also discuss expanding their family so Armando’s young daughter, Hannah can have another sibling.
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way hasn’t had the best track record for couples staying together. So, where are season 1 and 2’s couples?
Laura and Aladin. These two were doomed from the start and, to absolutely no one’s surprise –especially not Laura’s hyena-laughing son, Liam–are currently divorced.
Tiffany and Ronald are trying to make it work currently on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, but the last social media post from Tiffany is that they have broken up. We do not truly believe her though, as they have done this dance as many times as Corey and Evelin
Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee have called it quits and Deavan is now with a guy named Topher and dodging constant pregnancy rumors. She continues to use every filter known to man on her photos and got into a public spat with Janelle Evans from MTV’s Teen Mom. Jihoon has set up Go Fund Me to try to sue Deavan so he can get access to his son, Taeyang
Paul and Karine have popped out a couple of shorties, but no one ever truly knows if they are together or not. They break up every couple of months or so and police usually need to get involved. The last news from these two was that they were living together in Karine’s native Brazil but Paul had his visa denied- likely due to the fact that he breaks the law. A lot.
Brittany and Yazan were a terrible match and, after Yazan decided Brittany wasn’t worth being murdered over, found a different American, Muslim girl that his family approves of. Yazan married Lulu last month and they have plans to move to the US together. Just stay out of Florida, you two.
Brittany remains Brittany.
Tim and Melyza challenge Corey and Evelin to the worlds biggest ‘who cares’ title. In fact, half the time I thought I was watching Corey and Evelin when I was watching Tim and Melyza. Contrary to everyone’s predictions, the two got engaged this year.
And that’s the lot… besides the four returning couples and the two new ones that will star in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season three, premiering on Sunday, Aug. 29 at 8 p.m. on TLC.
